The Center for Strategic Studies to Support Women and Children (CSWC) participated in a workshop addressing the Referral System between Police Stations and Service Providers in Cases of Gender-Based Violence, held in Taiz Governorate from 25 to 26 June 2025.
The event was organized by the General Directorate for Family Protection and the Women Police of the Ministry of Interior, along with the Taiz Security and Police Department, in cooperation with the International Penal Reform Organisation, as part of the project “Strengthening the Role of Women Police in Yemen in Supporting Peace and Access to Justice,” funded by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The workshop aimed to strengthen coordination between law enforcement and service providers to enhance the response to gender-based violence cases, ensure protection for survivors, and facilitate access to justice and support services.
